The Paso Robles Area Groundwater Authority (“PRAGA” or “Authority”) recently mailed notices of its proposed Groundwater Management Charge (“Prop. 218 Notice”) to each property owner within the Authority’s jurisdiction, and included a list of parcels owned by that owner.

PRAGA has determined that one or more of the parcels listed on certain multi-parcel owners’ Prop. 218 notices are exempt from the charge program, and were therefore incorrectly included in the original notice. We are sending to each of those owners Correction Notices that identify both (1) the parcels that would be subject to the charge, and (2) the parcels that are exempt.  Owners are eligible to submit protests to the proposed charge only for parcels that are subject to the proposed charge.
